Volunteer Recruitment Day - For Abbey Guides, School Learning Volunteers and Engagement Volunteers

What You'll Do: 

These volunteer roles offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the welcoming and historic atmosphere of one of the world's most iconic landmarks.

 

The Abbey is looking for:

  • Abbey Guides to help provide the best possible experience for all those coming to worship or visit the Abbey.
  • School Learning Volunteers to be a welcoming and informative face of the Abbey for visiting UK school pupils.
  • Engagement Volunteers to welcome families and communities through tours and activities at weekends and during school holidays.

 

Applications must be received no later than noon on 7 November 2024 via email to:  volunteers@westminster-abbey.org CVs will not be accepted. 

 

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend one of two Recruitment Day’s, which will be held on 14 and 23 November 2024. This will provide an opportunity to find out more about volunteering at Westminster Abbey and potentially best suited volunteer role.   Any enquiries can be sent by email to: volunteers@westminster-abbey.org
