Lymphoma Awareness Community Volunteer

What You'll Do: 

There are flexible opportunities involved – you decide how much time you’d like to give and the type of activity you’d like to do! We recommed spending at least 1 hour volunteering each week, or 4 hours spread across a month.

 

Example activities:

- Provide on-the-day support during events (for example, stewarding, taking part in fundraising collections or joining a cheer team)

- Display posters and flyers across your local area to promote the our services and events.

- Attend and/or host a lymphoma awareness stand in the community, or a Lymphoma Action information stand at a health event or in a hospital.

- Give a talk or presentation, including virtual presentations.

- Get involved with social media activity or raise awareness through online activities.

- Support fundraising, from coordinating collection tins to corporate partnerships.

- Help build local connections and contacts through networking opportunities.

What We're Looking For: 

Volunteers should be reliable, and enjoy meeting and working with people from all backgrounds and experiences while volunteering both independently and as part of a team. They should have a basic understanding of lymphoma and knowledge of Lymphoma Action, or be willing to learn.
