We work with more than a third of the UK’s community energy groups, offering expert advice, bespoke Power Purchase Agreements, grants and loan funding, and connections to skilled volunteers.
The wonderful world of community energy is all about locally led renewable energy projects where profits are reinvested into the communities that need them most.
Although there are nearly 600 community energy groups across the country, saving over 165,000 tonnes of CO₂ and contributing almost £13 million to local economies, 80% are still run entirely by volunteers. That means they need skilled professionals in marketing, legal services, business, finance, and more to help bring their ideas to life.
