Event Volunteer Walk For A Cure London

What You'll Do: 

At this event, your role could be:

  • Greeter - welcoming walkers to the event village, generating a positive atmosphere, and helping to bring a warm personality to the day's event.
  • Route and/or Start/Finish Marshal - guiding walkers along the route, ensuring safety of walkers at crossings and junctions. Or supporting the start and handing out water and medals at the finish.
  • Sweep Marshal - following behind final walkers and checking in with route marshals. Liaison with event organisers where necessary.
  • Event Village - helping with arrival and registration, handing out lanyards, t-shirts, and supporting event village activities, e.g. assisting with public engagement stalls/stands.
  • Photographer - capturing action shots to showcase the feel of the event (in multiple locations). Photographers may be required to marshal alongside this role.
