Office Administration Volunteer

What You'll Do: 

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to provide administrative support to a busy and small team. You must be driven to help vulnerable people, remain calm under pressure, and provide guidance and support to applicants when necessary. You need strong communication and organisation skills, possess scrupulous attention to detail, and be confident and comfortable talking to all levels of stakeholders on a daily basis.

 

Administrative Support includes:

·Answering pre-application enquiries from members of the public and referral organisations

· Processing post, emails, and telephone calls

· Bundling papers for volunteer reviewers and barristers

· Recording and processing further Information from applicants, reviewers and panel members

· Undertaking administrative tasks, research and similar work as requested by the Director of Casework or Caseworkers

· Other ad hoc administrative tasks

What We're Looking For: 

Person Specification                               

Knowledge and Experience

· Demonstrable experience of administration

· Proven experience of Microsoft Office package (including Excel), with experience in Salesforce or other similar CRM systems desirable

· Knowledge of legal system and the Bar in England and Wales is helpful but not essential

 

Skills and Abilities

· Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team and develop good relationships with stakeholders

· Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines

· Ability to work in a busy environment with competing demand

· High quality oral and written communication skills and attention to detail

· Proven ability to communicate with a wide range of people

· Ability to work on your own initiative and develop ideas

· Professional, reliable and responsible
