We are looking for a volunteer to facilitate and lead on regular guitar music group sessions for our clients, guided by St Mungo’s values. This role will include teaching beginner and intermediate guitar to clients 1-2-1 or in small groups of up to 3 people, reporting back to staff after these sessions and meeting with your volunteer supervisor.
You'll be making a significant contribution to combating homelessness while developing skills and experience of the homelessness sector within a dynamic, positive, friendly and supportive environment, and have access to some of the training courses at St Mungo’s.
St Mungo's volunteers also have access to an extensive volunteer training programme and e-learning programme ad the opportunity to socialise with like minded people and other volunteers

In this role, you will be supporting us with all or some of the following tasks:
• Facilitating music sessions with groups of clients in an inclusive and empowering way.
• Designing the music sessions to meet the needs of the participants and taking a creative approach to how these are facilitated.
• Adhering to St Mungo’s Policies and Procedures at all times.
• Promoting St Mungo’s work in an appropriate manner.
• Actively promoting equality, diversity and inclusion among staff, fellow volunteers and clients.
