As an Volunteer Architect / Project Planner, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative and sustainable architectural projects that support our mission of promoting mental health and wellbeing in the community.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Mind CHWF to develop architectural concepts and designs that meet the needs of community Hub designs.
- Conduct site visits and analyse existing structures to determine feasibility of proposed designs.
- Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Manage and oversee construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
- Review and provide feedback on contractor proposals and bids
Desired / Essential.
- Proven experience as an Architect, with a portfolio showcasing past projects (D)
- Currently studying/ have achieved a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, or other relevant qualification (E)
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SketchUp (D)
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and regulations (D)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (E)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including community members, clients, and contractors (E)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills (D)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
