What You'll Do: 

Who are we?

CPRE London is a charity that fights to protect London’s green spaces. By volunteering with us you’ll be helping to find positive solutions for the issues facing the countryside and the environment. Your skills and experience will make a real difference and you’ll be a central part of a friendly and passionate charity.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Helping develop and customise our platform (WordPress)  
  • Tracking website traffic and maximising our online reach  
  • Optimising search/SEO results  
  • Reporting on the success of the website in engaging with visitors  
  • Liaising with the web team at National CPRE 
  • helping us improve our impact through appropriate analytics  
  • guiding us on GDPR and data security

What We're Looking For: 

Can you help us keep our website looking great, and working well? Your web support will enable us to reach more people, raise greater awareness and encourage volunteers. We are looking for someone who has experience in website design and development and a passion for environmental and countryside issues. You will work with our content and social media volunteer team.

 

The skills you need:

  • An interest in the countryside and environmental issues
  • Previous experience in maintaining a website
  • Good attention to detail and an eye for engaging web design
  • Access to a computer and the internet at home
  • Happy carrying out tasks independently and as part of a team
  • Be able to commit to volunteering regularly to suit your availability with occasional attendance at meetings
