Heritage Charity London is dedicated to ameliorating the effects of deprivation on disengaged and disadvantaged children and young people.
We are looking for an after school club volunteer to help us run Arts and Crafts Club for primary school students in the City of London, Tower Hamlets, Ealing, or Hounslow (you decide where is best for you).
The Club offers play activities, a socialising space, and new craft activities (following the HCL arts and crafts workbook) every week.
You would become part of our friendly and dedicated team and you have the opportunity to use your time to make a real difference in difficult times and enlist the work you have done in our charity and make your impressive CV even more outstanding for employers. Your transport costs will be covered and you will also be supplied with a T-shirt uniform.
Your help will shape the future of the children you work with. With your help, our passionate team will be able to continue to provide educational support to children in the UK.
This application is urgent and we are looking for the right volunteer to start as soon as possible. If you don't possess all the skills required but feel you are a strong candidate and confident of your experience and ability to make a success of the role please do apply
We are now looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us run the club for our Year 3-5 primary school students. You don’t need experience of working with children to apply, but you will need to be:
- Free to volunteer every Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday between 3.00 pm to 4.15 pm from 17 April to 17 July.
- Happy to get stuck in with arts and crafts activities
- Understanding of- and empathetic towards the needs of the children
- Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (organised and paid for by Heritage Charity London) which you will get your own copy of.
