Walking group Leader Volunteer

What You'll Do: 

You will help over 55s in Kensington and Chelsea to keep active by volunteering to deliver weekly Nordic walking sessions!

 

Nordic Walking provides a full body workout that improves flexibility, posture, balance and strength. The specially designed poles which will assist older people in walking faster, and take the strain off your joints

 

You will lead this activity on a monthly basis for 2 hour in in Holland Park, Kensington Gardens, Battersea Park and Canal starting in March 2023.

What You'll Learn: 

Age UK KC will provide Nordic Walking Leader and first aid trainings. In addition, we will give you support to lead activities.

What We're Looking For: 

All you need is enthusiasm and a bit of time and we will provide the rest!
