Volunteer Mentors

What You'll Do: 

You will be supporting young people who need guidance. This includes emotional support and also practical support such as CV creation, job application, interview prep. Young people might also be interested in going to university or doing an apprenticeship. You will teach the young person about resilience and confidence as well. 

Why You'll Love It: 

You will love it because giving something back to the community will make you feel great! You will receive support from the volunteer coordinator and the whole team, if needed. We also organise events and training for our mentors every few months. 

What You'll Learn: 

You will learn about housing and benefits, about the Criminal Justice System, about barriers in offenders' rehabilitation and about young people's wishes and struggles.

We hope that you are either in your last year of university or studying at a postgraduate level.

 

We also hope that you are either employed or that you have worked for at least 6 months (full/part time) in the past.
