What You'll Do:
- Create a Welcoming Environment, greeting attendees with warmth and a friendly attitude
- Help set up the space, including arranging seating, preparing refreshments, and creating an atmosphere that feels safe and comfortable.
- Encourage a sense of belonging and inclusion for all participants.
- Support tidy-up duties after the session.
- Be a calm, reassuring presence, offering empathetic listening without giving clinical or therapeutic advice.
- Support attendees to build confidence in attending groups and engaging with others.
- Maintain clear boundaries while being friendly and approachable.
- Report any concerns, incidents, or wellbeing issues to staff promptly.
