The skills you need
Have a warm, friendly and engaging manner.
To be active and engaged in the group.
To be trustworthy and reliable, including the ability to handle money.
To get on well with people from diverse backgrounds and be able to work as part of a team.
To communicate effectively and confidently with a variety of audiences.
To be able to organise and run events, always adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
Understanding of and commitment to equality and diversity
To be able to understand the need for support for deafblind people and their loved ones, including the diversity of our member base.
A willingness to learn more about deafblindness.
Previous fundraising experience would be helpful but is not essential.
Similar Opportunities
Our Baby Bank volunteers support families during their visit to Little Village. At one of our busy sites, they help families choose items their children will love. Volunteers also help to sort, check and prepare gifts of pre-loved donations.
