The skills you need
Have a warm, friendly and engaging manner.
To be active and engaged in the group.
To be trustworthy and reliable, including the ability to handle money.

To be able to organise and run events, always adhering to relevant policies and procedures.

A willingness to learn more about deafblindness.
Previous fundraising experience would be helpful but is not essential.
Similar Opportunities
We have fundraising events throughout the year both at the hospice and in the local area. We could not run these events without the support of our volunteers.
The hospice is set in a 24-acre estate, of which 4 acres are gardens. The grounds are taken care of by a number of volunteers and they form a fundamental part of the hospice team.
Our retail shop plays a vital role in raising funds and awareness for our cause. As a shop volunteer you are among the most visible faces of the charity and contribute hugely to how the public perceive us and the work we do.
