he Islington Bereavement Service offers support for adults living in Islington and/or registered with a GP in Islington, who have experienced the death of a family member, relative or another important person in their life.

In June 2026, LLST will host its annual fundraising event, the London Legal Walk, bringing the legal community together to raise funds in support of free legal advice charities across London and the South East.

Patients can find leaving the hospital challenging, especially for those who live alone or lack immediate support. This role is to support patients transitioning from hospital to home, ensuring their discharge is safe, smooth, and successful.


Work alongside us to bring in funds for Aphasia Re-Connect. Work with our advisory group to contribute your ideas and support. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and join us for events and initiatives. Be happy to take and share photos.

Visit a person at home and befriend them, offering communication support, and a fresh perspective from their daily routine. The person you visit will have aphasia, a communication disability, often stuck at home without support.

You will support people to access healthcare and overcome barriers, providing much-needed practical support. Your time can be split between working at our Outreach Services in East London, and on our remote Advice Line.

Keen to volunteer, but don’t have the time each week? Join us at one of our One-off Volunteering Days. Help us spread love and kindness to children living in poverty in London.

Our volunteer drivers bring joy in a box to families across London. Delivering essential gifts of clothing and toys, prams and cots, you will be handing over immediate relief to families living in poverty.

Our Baby Bank Helpers support families during their visit to Little Village. At one of our busy sites, they help families choose items their children will love. Volunteers also help to sort, check and prepare gifts of pre-loved donations.

We have an ever-growing Community Network of vegans just like you, who have a passion to volunteer and promote veganism where they live.

Join us on our Weekend Clubs and get to know our friendly service users as you all take part in fun and challenging workshops including sports and games, arts and crafts, drama and enjoying a day out in London.

10am to 3pm, Monday and/or Friday during term-time Our Employment & Life Skills Project (ELSP) helps adults with learning disabilities or autism to access further education, work experience and visits to mainstream community opportunities.

Join us at our charity shop & support our friendly service users as they build their work experience and social skills. You’ll be supporting our members with all aspects of working in a shop for them to build well rounded skills within the workplace.

Be Active is a programme where volunteers are matched one-to-one with a 60+ adult to support their rehabilitation exercises at home and in the community for up to 9 sessions.

Do you enjoy swimming? Could you give time regularly to support people with disabilities to swim and be active in the water? Volunteer with us and join a community of people making swimming more accessible.


Our Pick and Pack team are based in one of our lively baby banks. Together we sort, check, and prepare pre-loved items for children. Volunteers create high-quality bundles of toys, clothes, and equipment to gift to families.

Visiting patients in their homes to provide support of their therapy, as prescribed by a palliative care professional and within the scope of the volunteers training and competencies.
