Welcome to the new term!
At the end of the last academic year, City St George's Volunteering did a survey to find out which students volunteered, why, where and when. We learnt so much from you all and discovered some interesting stuff! The key pieces of information we discovered were that students struggled with time management, confidence and faced on the job challenges. The most prominent ways in which students overcame these barriers were by communicating, planning, researching and seeking university help.
One thing we have produced in response is a Welcome Guide (below). Whether you're new or old, hopefully this guide will provide some useful information, boost your confidence and make you feel a little less alone with any questions or uncertainties.

The majority of young people we support are Black and Brown which further increases the likelihood of experiencing exclusion. Being a mentor who can relate to their experience you will support your mentee to help them achieve their goals.

Join our mixed ability drama group who put on regular sell-out shows throughout the year.
