Social Media Assistant (Volunteer)

What You'll Do: 

Level 1 – Radio Schedule

  • Assist the social media manager with scheduling and uploading the daily broadcasting schedule to highlight the artists of the day.
  • Help coordinate with presenters to confirm showtimes and ensure consistency in the broadcast lineup.

Level 2 – Creative Content

  • Contribute ideas to the weekly/monthly creative content schedule.
  • Assist with shooting content (e.g., interviews, podcasts, announcements, events).
  • Help edit footage into engaging videos to be posted on various social platforms.

Level 3 – Aesthetic & Branding

  • Support the social media manager in maintaining the cohesive branding aesthetic of design assets and the general look of our social media profiles.

• • Provide input on design and layout decisions, ensuring all visuals stay true to House FM’s unique style.

  • Networking & Career Development: Build relationships with industry professionals, expand your network, and position yourself for future roles in the music industry—including the potential to host your own radio show.

  • Comfort interpreting statistics (e.g., Instagram insights, Meta Ads Manager).
