Conversation Partner

What You'll Do: 

You will befriend a person living at home with aphasia, a communication disability. We would ask you to do this regularly, once a week, for approximately one hour plus travel time.

  • You will get to know them and build a rapport with them.
  • You will provide better conversations with training beforehand
  • You will be able to signpost them to other support services 
  • You will complete a one sided feedback sheet and join supervision and support sessions, where you can recieve peer support as well as professional support
  • You will have fun and learn from the person with aphasia.
