After expressing interest on this form, we will be in touch to arrange a 1-1 call to explain more about the opportunity and what is involved. We are looking for women and non-binary students who feel comfortable sharing their education/career journey to inspire teenage girls in secondary schools to engage in physical activity.
The opportunity involves a 90-minute workshop delivered with a member of our team. The workshop is pre-designed with activities and information with space for you as the volunteer to share your story. Full training is provided and there is no minimum time commitment. After you have been trained, we will share the date and location of school opportunities and you can express interest if you are available to take part.
Working with young people is exciting and motivating, and it is great to inspire and feel inspired with the next generation. We know that teenage girls globally are not doing enough physical activity, and we want to allow them to meet inspirational and relatable volunteer role models who can share their stories and engage them in new ways.
You will gain skills in public speaking and presenting, working with young people and time-management.
We are looking for women and non-binary students who can share information about:
- Your engagement in physical activity as a child and/or as a student
- Your education journey, any work experience and the career you hope to have
School opportunities will be throughout Greater London so we hope there will be something for everyone in terms of location. You must be willing to travel to and from schools for in-person workshop delivery.
