Choose between 2 or 4 weeks in summer 2025 and join the university team in the heart of Uganda for a transformative journey that combines meaningful volunteer work with exhilarating experiences.
Picture yourself building a vibrant playground in a Ugandan community, creating a lasting legacy of joy and play for children aged 6 – 11. This is more than just a construction project—it’s a chance to immerse yourself in a new culture, gain invaluable global insights, and contribute to sustainable development. Play Action International’s programs are designed with ethics, sustainability, and community needs at their core, ensuring that your efforts make a real difference.
But that’s not all. You'll dive into dynamic play-based sessions with local children, engaging in arts and crafts using native materials, introducing sports to their curriculum, and setting up fun challenges that spark creativity and interaction. Each moment spent with the children will be both rewarding and eye-opening.
And when you’re not building or playing, get ready for thrilling weekend activities that will make your adventure unforgettable. Imagine going on a Big 5 African Safari, quad biking through rugged terrain, horse riding along breathtaking landscapes, and experiencing the adrenaline rush of white water rafting, bungee jumping, kayaking, and paddle boarding on the legendary River Nile!
This is your chance to make a lasting impact, immerse yourself in a vibrant culture, and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime. Apply now for Play Action International’s summer volunteer program in Uganda and turn your passion for change into an unforgettable experience!
