Project Play: Tanzania ft Kilimanjaro

What You'll Do:

This immersive project combines impactful volunteering with the exhilarating challenge of climbing Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro.

Your adventure begins in the heart of Tanzania, where you'll dive into meaningful volunteer work. Engage in community development projects that range from building essential playground infrastructure to supporting local schools and inspiring youth play programs. Your efforts will directly uplift Tanzanian communities, offering you the chance to experience the joy of giving back and witness firsthand the transformative power of your contributions.

Why You'll Love It:

After making a profound impact, it's time to focus on an exhilarating personal challenge. Prepare to lace up your hiking boots and tackle Mount Kilimanjaro via the breathtaking Machame route. This renowned path will guide you through a stunning variety of ecosystems, from lush rainforests to stark alpine deserts, culminating in the awe-inspiring Uhuru Peak. Standing atop Africa’s highest summit, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views and a deep sense of accomplishment.

What You'll Learn:

This project offers more than just a chance to help others; it’s a gateway to experiencing the unparalleled beauty of Tanzania. Journey through vibrant villages, witness the majestic Kilimanjaro, and achieve a bucket-list goal that tests both your endurance and spirit. Forge lasting connections with local communities and fellow volunteers while creating memories that will stay with you forever. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a meaningful impact and conquer one of nature’s greatest wonders.

What We're Looking For:

Funding opportunities could be available to you to subsidise personal travel expenses, but not always guaranteed and up to the discretion of the university and eligibility criteria.
