Event: City St George's Volunteering Fair 2024 (Monday)

What You'll Do:

The City St George’s Volunteering Fair is taking place again this year, this time across two dates and with more charities than ever before. This event page is for Monday’s event, so be sure to check out who is coming to Thursday’s event.

Volunteering is a great way to gain professional work experience, engage yourself in real-world problems, and support incredible charities and organisations across London. Come along to our fair to find out more about the volunteering opportunities available to you from an array of our charity partners.

Discover the range of roles on offer to you, whether that’s mentoring a young person, supporting people who are ill in hospital or hospices, or raising awareness of a cause at charity events.

Important information:

Date: Monday 14th October

Time: 1pm-4pm

Location: Pavilion, University Building

How the Volunteer Fair will work:

There are multiple time slots throughout the day, please book one that works for you and attend your selected slot.

Spaces are limited, so if you are no longer to attend, please cancel your spot so that someone else can join. If you do not attend and fail to cancel you will be marked as absent, which may affect your ability to attend future Careers events.

Although slots are 30 minutes long, you will not be asked to leave after 30 minutes.

On the day, please bring your student ID card so you can be marked as present.

Booking is advised to guarantee entry to the fair, although a walk-in queue will be operating on the day.
