Ethnic Minority Role Model and Mentor

What You'll Do:

Our ethnic minority female and male volunteer role models are matched with young people to provide positive inspirational and motivational workshops, alongside sharing stories of their journey to succeed in their chosen careers.

Routes2Success will reach 600 ethnic minority young people to provide positive role models from similar backgrounds, supporting with careers advice, entrepreneurial skills, making positive choices and guidance to overcome obstacles and those who are most affected will have dedicated mentors.

Why You'll Love It:

Not only do our young people leave sessions feeling inspired, but often our role models and mentors do too. By working with young people and sharing your experiences you will leave our sessions feeling rewarded and accomplished. You will also love working with us as it is a perfect way for you to grow your skillset whether it be public speaking, project management, emotional intelligence or overall confidence.

What You'll Learn:

You will learn about the struggles that many young people face when it comes to realising their dreams as you help them navigate these. This will give you a different outlook onto the various systems that exist.

You will also learn a lot about your personal strengths and weaknesses as you interact with our beneficiaries.

What We're Looking For:

We want role models and mentors to reflect a cross section of occupations and experiences. An ability to engage with young people and strong commitment to the process of inspiring the next generation is important.
