As a food hub assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Receive, sort, and organise food donations.
- Ensure food items are stored correctly and safely.
- Assist in preparing food parcels for distribution.
- Help with the distribution of food to families and individuals in need.
- Maintain accurate records of food inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the team leader.
- Greet and assist beneficiaries of the Food Hub with respect and compassion.
- Address any questions or concerns from beneficiaries.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Regularly clean and sanitise work areas.
