Information and Advice Service Volunteer - Age UK HHB

What You'll Do: 

In this role, you'll be a vital source of support and information for those in need, helping them navigate various challenges and find the resources they require.

 

Age UK Hillingdon Harrow and Brent is a caring charity dedicated to “creating a world where everyone can love later life.” We rely on the generous support of people like you to make it happen. Here at Age UK Hillingdon Harrow and Brent (Age UK HHB) we believe in making life better so that everyone can enjoy later life. We provide services, activities and advice for older people over the age of 60.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Offering a warm welcome to clients and listening to their concerns.

• Providing clear and accurate information on a range of topics.

• Helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions.

• Signposting to relevant services and resources.

• Keeping up-to-date with the latest information to ensure the best advice is given.

• Working with a fantastic team of volunteers and staff to make a real difference.

Following training a minimum of one year commitment in the role, and a minimum of 3 hours a week with the flexibility to cover on an ad hoc basis
