Logistics Volunteer

What You'll Do:

You'll pick up laptops from across London and deliver them directly to refugees. You might also pick up laptops and take them to tech volunteers, or to refugee organisations. If you're extra great you'll go to our storage unit and pick up some laptops and deliver them where they need to go. Some call it running, some call it logistics, it's vital for our organisation to keep the flow of tech moving.

Why You'll Love It:

It's hands on, it's practical, you can listen to a podcast at the same time. There is great responsibility involved - if you let the recipient down you've messed up, and if you back-out last minute it slows our process down - and yet it's really easy. Pick up, jump on the tube, delivery! It's also a community vibe - you'll meet volunteers, refugees, techies, charity staff. It's the bread and butter of refugee support!

What You'll Learn:

What it's like to work on the ground in a grassroots charity; what it's like working with other volunteers and volunteer coordination; as much about digital inclusion as you'd like to ask!

What We're Looking For:

Someone really reliable, friendly, and reliable. Also, reliable. Turn up at the right time, deliver at a decent time, communicate clearly and consistently, do good in your spare time and get a bangin' reference from us!
