Learning Centre volunteers

What You'll Do:

What is involved?

Term-time volunteer roles involve leading trails and workshops for students at all levels of education from nursery/EYFS through primary and also secondary. Session themes and activities vary from exploring our herb garden and making bees wax candles to tours about our monastic history. You can find information about our session on the Cathedral website. You don’t have to be an expert on any of the topics or age groups as you will receive training and plenty of time to observe and learn sessions.

Holiday volunteer roles involve supporting our growing programme of family learning activity. These events tend to be light-touch and drop-in with a variety of hands-on activities and trails.

  • Invitations to special events and relevant meetings.
