London Legal Walk Events Steward

What You'll Do:

You'll be prepped beforehand, meet your team mates and be allocated a position along one of our 10k routes around London. This could be somewhere near the river Thames or Hyde park! We allow you to choose.

You will be given a marshal T-shirt and some props to make you easily identifiable to our walkers. Once in position, your afternoon will consist of cheering on around 12-15,00 people as they complete their 10k walk. You'll direct them and encourage them. You'll also have information packs on you to help answer any questions that they may ask for example closest public toilets or how far they have left to go.

Why You'll Love It:

It's such a wonderful day with thousands of attendees smiling and enjoying the suhnshine, good food, music and entertainment. It's the perfect opportunity to make new friends as we'll have over 100 volunteers helping on the day. You'll also be able to meet all kinds of legal professionals, from Lawyers, Barristers, Judges, KC's, the list goes on!

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy our street party afterwards.

What You'll Learn:

You'll learn the basis of what goes on behind the scenes in order to make an event smooth running and successful. You'll also learn great people skills as you make new friends and support our thousands of attendees.

What We're Looking For:

All help is welcome, we don't have any specific requirements or skills. All we ask is that you're dedicated to the cause, friendly, willing to help others and motivate them.
