Community Trip Helper For Adults with Learning Disabilities

What You'll Do: 

Key Tasks: • Provide extra company for the PWS, having chats and general engagement • Support staff with ad hoc tasks such as giving out snacks, clearing away rubbish and fetching items such as first aid kits • Being an extra pair of hands in the case of an unexpected emergency or inconvenience

• Communication skills – Communicating with people with learning disabilities can be challenging at time but doing so will develop your ability the adapt your communication more effectively • Experience - Gain a valuable insight into the lives of people with learning disabilities and social care system • Practical skills – Learn how to adapt activities to make them more inclusive
