Wayfinding Volunteers

What You'll Do:

As a wayfinder you'll be at the front-line of patient interaction. You'll meet and greet patients and their companions, guide them around the hospital and provide them with PPE as necessary. You'll also be on hand to trouble shoot for any issues patients may have with their visit, and provide information and support to those who need it.

Why You'll Love It:

As a Friends volunteer you'll be able to provide small, but kind actions that go a long way for those living with eye conditions/visual impairment.

It'll give you a great sense of purpose and will give you experience and skills that can be transferred into any career path.

What You'll Learn:

You'll learn a lot including interpersonal skills, and will gain experience of a hospital-setting.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for patient, calm and empathetic volunteers who are willing to support our patients.
