CityBuddy Mentor

What You'll Do:

CityBuddies is City, University of London’s peer-mentoring scheme.

As a mentor on the scheme you will be matched with new undergraduates to support them through their journey into university.

Studying at university is a big step up from being at college or sixth form, both academically and personally. Your mentees may be living away from home, making new friends in a new city and managing their finances for the first time. CityBuddies aims to make the process easier by providing volunteers to guide new students around campus, showing them all of the activities that City has to offer and giving them valuable insight into studying their course.

Why You'll Love It:

Being a mentor is a great chance to meet new people, improve your confidence, and add something new to your CV.

Being a CityBuddy fits around your schedule and is a great way to develop your skills and employability while you study.

What We're Looking For:

Enthusiastic and dedicated undergraduates who are willing to give their time to help a new student.
