What You'll Do:

Are you passionate about making a difference in your local community? Do you enjoy connecting with people and spreading positivity? Join Family Fund as a Community Ambassador Volunteer and help us support families raising disabled or seriously ill children.

  • Gain meaningful volunteering experience that will strengthen your CV and future job applications
  • Enjoy a flexible role that fits around your studies, work and other commitments

  • Build connections in your local area while developing professional skills
  • Receive training, guidance and ongoing support from the Family Fund team
  • Celebrate the impact you've made and see how your efforts help families access vital support

  • Communication and public speaking skills through engaging with a range of people and organisations
  • Networking and relationship-building experience with local businesses, community groups and supporters
  • Social media and digital engagement skills to help raise awareness of Family Fund's work
  • Event planning and project coordination experience through supporting local activities and campaigns
  • Fundraising, advocacy and community engagement skills within the charity sector
  • Confidence, leadership and teamwork skills that you can take into future employment opportunities
What We're Looking For:

About you

You don’t need any fundraising experience, just a willingness to help and a connection to your local community. You might be:

  • A good communicator who enjoys meeting new people
  • Organised and reliable, with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable using social media or speaking to groups
  • Passionate about supporting families and making a difference
