Programme Support Volunteer

What You'll Do:

Support our team during school workshops and youth programmes by helping activities run smoothly, encouraging student participation, supporting wellbeing and behaviour, and escalating any safeguarding concerns to senior staff.

Why You'll Love It:

Gain hands-on experience in school and youth mental health settings while contributing to programmes that directly support young people. You'll work alongside experienced staff, build your confidence and gain valuable insight into mental health, education and youth work.

What You'll Learn:

You'll develop practical skills in communication, teamwork, group facilitation and supporting young people. Full training is provided, including guidance around safeguarding, professional boundaries and recognising and escalating wellbeing concerns.

What We're Looking For:

No previous experience is required. We're looking for reliable, approachable people with an interest in supporting young people and mental health. Volunteers must be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check and safer recruitment process, attend training and commit to 0–8 hours per week. The role is in-person, with sessions taking place in school and youth settings.
