Role Description:
• Support with content development e.g., training content reviews/social media/writing blogs.
• Organise and attend university campus events and/or training delivery sessions where possible to support the USE team’s university engagement and campaigns
• Engage with fellow students to raise awareness about the risks associated with gaming and gambling.
• Build relationships with key university contacts to raise awareness of gaming and gambling harms and to support future partnerships with the USE programme.
• Provide insight and understanding from a student perspective to help inform Ygam’s work and ensure it remains relevant and impactful.
• Attend training sessions provided/arranged by Ygam to gain knowledge about gaming and gambling harms, and the available support services.
• Advise Ygam on key areas where the student voice is being lost or where students are not being protected from harm to inform further development of the charity.

This is a brilliant opportunity to learn more about the impact of gaming and gambling harms on the lives of children and young people, and university students in particular. You'll play a key role in shaping Ygams direction and ensuring the voices of students are heard and valued.
You'll get the opportunity to work with a team of likeminded ambassadors from universities across the UK.

You'll receive training on gaming and gambling harms, and will be invited to one of our awareness sessions that we run for university students across the UK.
Outgoing and confident students who are comfortable networking on their campus to raise awareness- of gaming and gambling related harms.
Organised and committed to attending a weekly Teams meeting on Tuesdays 4-5pm to check in with the ambassador team.
