Croydon Community Energy are after some help organising and promoting their Climate Craft Cafe Sessions

What You'll Do:

These monthly workshops are designed to promote awareness of climate issues and community energy in a fun, engaging and creative way.

We are looking for someone to support us with the logistics of these sessions, including collating organisational contacts and helping us to promote the events through email.

The role will also involve carrying out online research, supporting email campaigns and coordinating with venues and facilitators. If you would like to contribute to building climate awareness in the community, we would love your support.

Why You'll Love It:

We’ve got a wealth of lifelong professionals on our team—from Finance Directors to engineers and creatives. There are tons of skilled professionals you can learn from, and upon completing a job well done, we’ll be more than happy to provide you with a positive reference.

What We're Looking For:

Croydon Community Energy is a South London-based group taking sustainable action into their own hands! Despite a Climate Emergency being declared in 2019, Croydon Council has yet to implement a substantial Climate Action Plan… which is where we come in.

Our vision is to develop renewable energy projects and provide energy education to empower our community.

If you care about sustainability, supporting vulnerable members of your community, and technology, then this is the place for you!
