Croydon Community Energy are after some support to complete a website migration

What You'll Do:

We’re looking to move away from our current website provider (Wix) as soon as possible.

To help with this, we’d like someone to research a suitable platform that we can migrate to. We’d like you to produce a summary of 2–3 platforms, including details such as costs and timelines for migration.

If you have experience in web development, this opportunity could expand into a broader role where you oversee the entire migration. If not, we’re simply looking for a motivated and committed volunteer to help us out.

Why You'll Love It:

Croydon Community Energy is a South London-based group taking sustainable action into their own hands! Despite a Climate Emergency being declared in 2019, Croydon Council has yet to implement a substantial Climate Action Plan… which is where we come in.

Our vision is to develop renewable energy projects and provide energy education to empower our community.

If you care about sustainability, supporting vulnerable members of your community, and technology, then this is the place for you!

What You'll Learn:

We’ve got a wealth of lifelong professionals on our team—from Finance Directors to engineers and creatives. There are tons of skilled professionals you can learn from, and upon completing a job well done, we’ll be more than happy to provide you with a positive reference.

What We're Looking For:

We're just looking for someone who is keen to get stuck in. If you have lots of experience in website developent, then you can make this role your own. If you're new to it all, there is the chance to grow into it at your own pace.
