What You'll Do: 

There are lots of fun varied roles to get involved with. Roles will be allocated closer to the event day - every role is valuable and important for making the event a success. Possibilities include:

 

· Medal distributor

· Cheerer

· Stewarding around the park

· And many more!

 

A full volunteer shift is 7am till 2pm on the 11th October 2025 at Hyde Park in London. Ideally, you will be able to do the full shift, but a half shift is also available from 9am till 1pm.

Why You'll Love It: 

Race for the Kids is a fatastic event where participants can walk, jog, wheel or scoot 2k or 5k in London's Hyde Park on Saturday 11th October 2025.  There'll be live stage entertainment, an eclectic mix of fabulous family activities, and even a few famous faces.

 

By volunteering as an Event Maker you will:

  • Enhance your CV if that is important to you
  • Participate in the GOSH Charity volunteering community
  • Know you are helping seriously ill children and their families at Great Ormond Street Hospital
What You'll Learn: 

- Experience supporting a mass participation charity event

- Development of events-specific skills including team-work, organisational and communication.

· Individuals aged 18 and over interested in volunteering for GOSH Charity

· Ability to follow our policies and procedures to keep you, our staff, our patients, and our supporters safe

· Ability to represent GOSH Charity and our values
