Description

Priority activities / tasks to include:

Support the administration team, including taking up tasks from the online task list

Deal with incoming and outgoing post, in line with office procedure, including scanning letters and attaching to the client database and notifying the adviser

Take messages from the client message line and process in accordance with office procedure

Process messages left by clients dropping into the hub for advisers in line with office procedure

Update the client database, as required

Scan, photocopy and shred documents

Assist with updating and maintaining stocks of handouts for the information hub and advice line

Creating client files for advisers


Occasional activities / tasks to include:

Update reference books

Answer the telephone, as required

Telephone clients to confirm or rearrange appointments as required

Deal professionally and empathetically with clients, either in person or over the telephone when required

Assist with the stock check and purchase of office supplies

Assist the advice services administrator with room allocation schedules

Assist with client file archiving

Undertake any other related and appropriate miscellaneous tasks, as they arise

Full training will be provided, with ongoing support and training arranged by the Volunteer Manager
