Description

Are you passionate about reducing food waste? Do you want to improve the lives of vulnerable people? Or both?

This role is vital to the work of FareShare, ensuring that the food delivered to our warehouse is correctly sorted, labelled and organised into orders placed by our charities and community groups. This role is perfect for someone who is looking for a practical activity, someone looking to gain experience in the food industry, warehousing and customer service and/or someone just wanting to help.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

  • Teamwork
  • Planning/Organising

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

All volunteers will be required to attend an induction and training before commencing their role in the warehouse.

FareShare can provide volunteers with Food Hygiene Level 2 training free of charge.
