Location This particular opportunity will take place within a variety of locations in London. Reasonable travel and lunch expenses will be reimburse for all volunteers supporting this project.
Description

The Terrence Higgins Trust are looking for dynamic, vibrant volunteers with an interest in events or fundraising to provide ad hoc support to our fundraising team who have raised over £6 million in contributions across 2016-2017.

This is a varied role with an opportunity for individuals to gain an insight into how busy fundraising teams operate. Thee will be opportunities to join us at our flagship fundraising events such as London Marathon, London Pride, Vitality 10k Race, World AIDS Day, Friends Dinner, Supper Club etc.

The Type of Tasks / Activities you could be involved with:
• Help us raise vital funds for Terrence Higgins Trust on World AIDS Day by taking part in our tube collections across London.

• Provide event support at our flagship fundraising events (Friend Dinner, Supper Club, THT Charity Auction).

• Whoop, shout, clap and dance as our amazing challengers speed past our cheering stations at running (London Marathon, Vitality 10k) and cycling (Ride London) events in London.

• Support us at London Pride, join us in the parade, handout stickers and condoms to crowds in Soho and help us manage our stall in Trafalgar square

Desired Commitment: 1 event per month, 4- 8 hours. Across an evening, weekday or weekend.

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

All volunteers will be required to completed a 2 day volunteer induction training.

Volunteers will also be offered role specific training.
