Hours per week 4 hours
Location 2 Angel Gate, City Road, London EC1V 2PT Our office is less than five minutes walk from City University, we are just off Goswell Road.

Are you looking to make a difference? Are interest in fundraising? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

We are seeking up to three enthusiastic and committed office-based volunteers to support the community fundraising team in the successful delivery of our flagship campaigning and awareness month, Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in March.

We are looking for a volunteer to start as soon as possible and help with the successful delivery of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. You will need to be available for at least half a day a week, be confident and hard-working. Join us now and you’ll have the chance to volunteer until the end of March, with the possibility of further voluntary work in 2018.

Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. We work to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide much-needed support to women with ovarian cancer. 11 women die every day from ovarian cancer. With your help, we can fund life-saving research to help double survival rates.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

Training will be provided to allow successful use of Raiser’s Edge database as well as necessary information on our work, ovarian cancer in the UK and fundraising best practice. A member of the community fundraising team will be your main contact and will support and train you during your time with Target Ovarian Cancer.
