Location Most sessions take place here at City University's Northampton Square campus. We also regularly run events with startup incubators, tech accelerators and Co-Working Spaces throughout London including WeWork South Bank, Google Campus and others. Successful applicants will receive further information and be notified of locations and timings for events.
Description

Do you want to make your textbooks come alive? Join a qualified solicitor in interviewing and advising start-up clients from the Silicon (Old Street) Roundabout and beyond. Learn from a professional, gain practical skills, and have an impact on the local community!

PLEASE NOTE:
If you have applied before, Step 1 will not apply to you because you are already registered as a Start-Ed volunteer. Simply complete Step 2 as directed above, indicating that you are re-applying.

If you have successfully participated in Start-Ed in the past, you may apply again. However, please bear in mind that our primary priority is to extend this opportunity to new participants.

We will endeavour to invite all successful applicants to attend a minimum of two (2) 2-3 hour evening sessions during the term.

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

We will give all successful applicants basic training in client interviewing and corporate structure / commercial legal matters.

There are ongoing training opportunities both during the sessions and through networking opportunities near the "Silicon Roundabout" (Old Street) area.

We are unable to reimburse travel expenses
