Hours per week 3 hours
Location The volunteer can either meet us at the Forest School site - Abney park in Hackney, N16, or travel with us and the children on the bus from our school on Myddelton street EC1R 1YJ. The park can be reached by either the 73 or 476 bus to Stoke newington Church Street
Description

Do you like working with children aged 7-10? Do you love being outdoors and would like to inspire children with a love of nature?
Forest school offers children a holistic and creative opportunity to connect with nature and nurture new skills outdoors.
Come and help us make things from natural resources, build dens, climb trees and learn about the natural world.

The timings that students are required to work from is 12 pm - 4 pm

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

About you

The organisation has indicated the following requirements from volunteers who want to take this opportunity.

Essential: Enthusiastic. Must be able to listen to/inspire children and support them developing their own ideas. Must follow safety guidelines.

Desirable: knowledge of woodland. craft skills.
