Leader Intern at East African Playgrounds

Lead a team on the Uganda Volunteer Project. Recruit your team, help them with their fundraising and prepare them for Uganda.

Location Jinja, Uganda, East Africa.

Would you like to develop leadership, recruitment and fundraising skills?

Becoming a Leader Intern with East African Playgrounds whilst at University is an amazing opportunity for you to have a unique, fun and exciting experience whilst learning new skills and gaining experience in a range of areas which alongside your degree can help develop you and your career.

Working with our team, you will be the student voice of East African Playgrounds on campus. Your main role will be helping us to promote our ethical volunteering project and recruit volunteers from your university for our summer 2018 team. You will also help us support the team with their fundraising and can come out to Uganda in the summer with your team to have the experience of a life time.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

You will receive an initial Skype training on how to recruit your team. Further training will then be provided in person covering fundraising and supporting your team in Uganda.
