Location Neurosurgery doctor's office Ward 12e, The Royal London Hospital, Stepney way, Whitechapel, E1 1BB. Initially access will be granted by a member of staff until your honorary contract is generated. Closest tube is Whitechapel station which has District and Circle as well as London Overground access.
Description

We create awesome neurosurgical content that we use to engage the public and to teach nurses, medical students, allied healthcare professionals and neurosurgeons worldwide.

We run monthly case-based discussions on social media and strive to increase our social media reach with interactive, fun and current posts.

We aim to demystify neurosurgery and bring people from all walks of life together to learn from each other.

You get the unique opportunity to help run global neurosurgical discussions on Twitter as well as regularly put curated posts on our Facebook and Instagram pages. You will have complete access to the neurosurgery operating theatre and department for as long as you have an honorary contract, which should help with content generation!

We need good communicators who have a finger on the social media pulse. We also need keen writers and editors to manage our blog content.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

We can provide one-to-one training on several aspects:

Use of various social media accounts that we have as well as access to a neurosurgeon at all times to help you curate content.

You will have administrative access to our website (which runs CMS-made-easy)and to Mailchimp to run regular campaigns. We will sit down with you and go through the various platforms and will always be on-hand to help out.
