Description

This is an exciting opportunity to support the National Autistic Society's busy and vibrant national Autism Helpline and Supporter Relations team. In exchange for your help, we will provide ongoing supervision, support and training throughout your role.

We receive a huge number of enquiries to our Autism Helpline Mailbox from people seeking advice about autism and support from services. Your vital assistance will enable us to reach more people using our service.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

  • Computer/Technical

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

• A full one day training session before starting your role
• Online autism awareness training and other e-learning courses
• Volunteer Induction
• On-the-job training
• Database training
• Ongoing support and supervision with your line manager
• Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed.
Mandatory training for the role will be from 9:45am – 4:15pm on Saturday 25th November 2017 in central London. Please ensure you are available for this training date before applying for the role.
