Description

This is an exciting opportunity to support the National Autistic Society's busy and vibrant national Autism Helpline and Supporter Relations team. In exchange for your help, we will provide ongoing supervision, support and training throughout your role.

By providing a high standard of administration support, you will help us to improve the delivery of our services to people supporting our charity.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

  • Interpersonal/Confidence
  • Teamwork
  • Planning/Organising
  • Computer/Technical

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

• On-line autism awareness training and other e-learning courses
• Volunteer Induction
• On-the-job training
• Raiser’s Edge training
• Ongoing support and supervision with your line manager
• Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed


Mandatory training for the role will be from 9:45am – 4:15pm on Saturday 25th November 2017 in central London. Please ensure you are available for this training date before applying for the role. Please complete a Volunteer Application Form and email it to lifeline.volunteers@nas.org.uk by Friday 17th November 2017 at 12:00pm.
