We are a group of dynamic and brave real estate professionals. We are dedicated to gender equality and diversity in the real estate industry through informal education and networking opportunities. RE: WOMEN is all about directly addressing the need of real estate industry to become a more equal, fair and sustainable industry. We are a non-profit group and hold regular meetings and workshops to promote women’s equality in the real estate industry. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a part-time voluntary Social Media Manager to join our team.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for all copywriting, scheduling, publishing and delivery of RE: Women’s social content. Their main responsibility is to manage the running of RE: Women’s social accounts including Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook and be able to add to this list of social media outlets by creating and managing accounts with Instagram, Snapchat etc.
Understanding the nuances between different social networks in a must for this role along with an ability to change tone of message accordingly.
The role largely involves updating the social media accounts including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and add other social media outlets such as Instagram, Snapchat etc.
Produce creative social media campaigns and strategies and constantly formulating ways to engage and communicate with our audience
Help with creative ways to constantly communicate with our audience and find methods to complete our marketing objectives through social media
Help to promote our group through creative social media strategies and produce great creative content
Ensure we are telling social stories consistently across our channels
What we are looking for:
Experience in using social media outlets e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Snap Chat, Instagram etc.
Working towards a Bachelors/Masters degree in a communication-related field such as Digital Marketing, Journalism, Media & Communications etc.
Strong writing skills
Enthusiastic, innovate personality who is creative and able to think outside the box
Good research and feedback skills
Great communication and presentation skills
Interest of the real estate industry and matters on equality
Be able to dedicate around 6-10 hours’ per week to this role either from a home PC or smart phone
Perhaps you are someone with children working from home, or perhaps you are a recent Graduate or someone working towards any of the above degrees. This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in growing our network of members and promoting women’s equality in the real estate industry. In addition to being invited to regular committee meetings, we can offer you free access to all events which include high profile speakers from the real estate industry.
