Description

Are you interested in getting other people to care about the environment? Why not help deliver environmental education at beautiful Forty Hall.

Working alongside the Learning and Conservation Officer you will help to promote and foster relationships with local schools and community groups to come to Forty Hall to learn about the landscape, its heritage and the projects that are happening here. You will have the opportunity to help produce environmental education materials, delivering or organising educational events, and looking for new opportunities to work with interested parties.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

The Education Ambassador will work closely with a member of staff to ensure they are clear and confident in what they are doing. Where required and available, there will be opportunities to go on training days, for example, training on leading pond dipping activities.
