Location Volunteers will be based at one of five adventure playgrounds. Description

Do you want to spend time with great children twice a week During school holidays? We want to be flexible about times to fit in with your availability. Come and join in.

With the help of a team of volunteers we will be running cooking, eating and playing sessions at 5 adventure playgrounds in Islington during 11 weeks of the school holidays to try and improve children’s health.

Can you,
• Help out at two (4 hour) sessions a week during school holidays?
• Learn new skills?
• Let children take the lead?
• Work outside?

We can,
• Offer training in ‘Safeguarding Children’ (certificate)
• Offer training in ‘Food and Hygiene’ (certificate)
• Offer training and experience in Play and Playwork
• Offer experience of working within a leading dynamic play organisation

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:
